Just a test

TG is about the best way to test models in a scene as far as I know. Just import model and hit render. Cant be easier than that. Indeed a lot of stuff yet to do with this model.

But fun to render tests to see the parts that are ok.

Built on the ruins model. That caused a bunch of issues. But whatever, its fun.

Great work, Michael. It's obvious that you've put a lot of work in this. Btw, I also like the subdued colors in your render. But (one tiny titbit), they look brandnew, I would at least throw some wear in.

Just saw this.    8)   Neat but definitely some age like water stains, dust and some cracks.

..or you create an original scene in the correct timeline?

AP

Certainly another option. Recreate a scene from a Cecil B. DeMille motion picture.

Well worth the effort and the wait.Good job so far!

Some phallic symbol and griffins...wonder if that's historically correct. ;)

Wonderful modelling work, Michael.  Looks a bit too new though.

This is looking amazing. I love it! As to the comments about it looking new, I think that's ok. Maybe though do two versions, new, and ruined. That would be pretty amazing to see what "time" has done to it.

Keep up the good work!

great idea, i see some rendering problem in your image like dirt, is that for texture or flickr on rendering procces?
or black edge that i think its not for modeling..
i really like to use terragen for architectural projects but i think its not suitable for architecture :(
