Just a quick render to see how the model looks like.

Initially it makes a good "impression".  :)

Dune

If this would be high res render, it'b awesome.

archonforest

Thank you.   :)
I will make a higher res render for sure since I like the outcome. The posted render is 0.3 / 0.3 and I used PS to create the seen effect as I liked it. Will post a higher render soon.

Hm, is it European aviation workhorse (A320) by any chance?

Air France... hehe, no wonder the picture looks like an impressionist work. ;)

Oh yes, looking forward to see it in higher quality.

Here is a higher render. The clouds are still looking bad on the middle of the plane. Guess I will have to crank more the quality tab...

Looks very good. Seems like getting rid of the noise would be worth it, even if only a crop and paste for that area.

Antoine

Great scene ! I like the clouds.

archonforest

Thank you guys. I will crop render that part tuning the clouds/atmo samples until that grain goes away.

Super setting. I do think the plane should be brighter though; better lit.

I would guess that if your plane is reflective (with ray-traced reflections), the noise might be coming from that, and not specifically the clouds. I'd recommend not bothering with RT reflections; simple specular will probably be quite realistic here, it will render faster, and without noise.

Tku Oshyan. I turned off the reflections and it looks way better. Clouds are still noisy around that part though. I will play with the quality/atmo settings to see how to smooth the grain out. I will also try to let a little bit of extra light come through the clouds in general as I think some extra light can help also.
