Hey! This is my 17th tg2 picture :D i used a lot of imige map shaders, and other surface shaders (redirect, twist and..., power fractal ect.) and photoshop cs2. :)

hey, thats a nice scene.
Some suggestions:
Turn on haze density, or basically whatever you turned off in the atmosphere, the way it is now it looks kinda unrealistically clear.
Another thing is the composition; try to get some balance in the scene by the way you place the camera.
And, the detail is a little low, looks like you used some softening, maybe a slight blur in photoshop? anyway try to give it detail by making it more sharp.
Like I said, nice scene and pic, but it could be better ;)

I'd be more inclined to look at the picture if it was posted here, instead of on a third-party site with ads on the page. I assume you're getting paid for hits on the page?

::)

I really like the foreground
"His blood-terragen level is 99.99%...he is definitely drunk on Terragen!"

I like everything except the little bit of green, which I find distracting.  Good job, nevertheless.

Is what Harvey asked true?
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

ImageShack, the place hosting the picture, is who is getting paid. They provide a free service in exchange for allowing ads to be shown when your picture is shown. Since we do allow image postings directly in a message here that is generally a better option, although you have to be a member to view images so if you want to share the image elsewhere it may not be as good.

So you're saying I'm too suspicious?  :o   My apologies, one and all.   :-X

I like the displacements on the bottom half of the image, nice work!
Maybe you could try to improve the surfacing a little and make it less "vivid". Don't know exactly how to express what I think of them, sorry.
A nice idea would also the give the snow slightly higher fuzzy zone settings on the slope restrictions (surface layer -> slope restrictions -> fuzzy zone), then apply a little offset on the displacement to give the snow a bit of volume/depth (surface layer -> displacement -> offset --> don't know the scales in your tgd but you might start with an ofset of 0.5 and see the effect).
Another suggestion is to increase the densities of the hazes to create more depth. The background is almost as clear and sharp as the foreground and increasing the densities of the hazes will make the background look more fuzzy/misty, thus creating more sence of depth.
Looking forward to see an update :) ;)
