Atmosphere Boundary Line

I wanted to do one of those shots of the sun rising over a planet, but i notice the atmospheric boundary is a hard line. I can't get a smooth transition no matter the height settings  I do.

I don't see this in any photos from ISS or otherwise, so I think it may just be a falloff/continuity thing.

Ohh right! Dammit I did it again. My brain keeps reverting to ceiling adjust being like a modulator to the height altitude settings.

Perfect, a setting of 9 (like illustrated) works perfectly.
