I'm trying to create an ocean scene, does anyone have any tips or tutorials to make large waves look more transparent. I can get the look of a choppy sea withe the lake/water shader, but it just looks like a giant lump , no transparency, or proper subsurface scattering. would using the path tracer give better results? here's a sample of what I made. as you see, it just basically looks like rather lumpy terrain. I've tried decreasing the roughness and increasing wave size, but just get strange looking reflections. any help would be appreciated
