I had a similar problem with a fern this last week - could there be a general problem in this release? Tons of bucket errors! >:(
I hear you MacGyver, those bucket errors are really annoying

I thought I had it fixed with a new pov, but it looks like I was wrong.
Its not a new general problem, because I have encountered clipped objects in the past with previous releases, I'm not sure whats causing it though.

I'm going to try replacing the palmetto tree population with a single palmetto .tgo
I hope it works.

its a good thing I hit print screen before I tried to save this - because TG2 crashed right after I tried saving my image  >:(

The foliage is very nice, and teh sky is as dramatic as it gets.  Gold image.

Hetzen

Excellent stuff. My eye wants to dot around the picture now to see all the detail you've put in. Love it.

Henry Blewer

It's great! I also hunt around, looking for animals crouching, watching the photographer. I know it's a rendered image, but I can't help myself.

great render!

did you know you always find the full bmp in the temporary folders? Only prerequisite is that the render has finished before crashing. You don't even have to save it, it automatically saves a copy in the TG2 temp folders.

Very nice work here!
Like I said before I really like the way the clouds blend in the haze/horizon.
The color-palette is very nice and natural as well, find it very pleasing to look at.

Perhaps, if you are still able to, you could do some extra work on the clouds. They are a bit "splotchy"/noisy.

Also, do I see reflection-bugs of the 2 big ferns at the centre of the image?

that last render took over 15 hours....
the cloud quality was set to 1
and the Atmosphere samples were set to 64

I'm not sure about the reflection-bugs...
those ferns aren't ferns, there palmetto fans/bushes

Sorry, I was a bin unclear regarding your clouds. The quality is fine indeed, but I meant that the clouds themselves (fractal-wise) are splotchy/noizy. They aren't as realistic as the other elements in your image.
Are you able to render a bigger crop of the reflections of your ferns....ehrrr...fans :)

I think that reflection bug just might be the wind patch effect/wind patch sharpness settings I'm using.

I'm working fixing the the clouds, I'm not as experienced with the cloud fractal as others may be.

Great to hear you're still improving this. You still have over 3 weeks left so plenty of time to work on your clouds. Please don't rush it :)

I'm not, because I'm working on some other TG2 projects.
