Thanks for the replies and suggestions.
The second image is my favorite too. And it was just a lucky fluke, with some fine tuning. I was showing off my firts image, to friends and family, and wanted to hilight the fact that this was a 3D model. So, I just randomly selected a few different angles, and came up with this. I rotated, and lifted, the camera a bit, to frame out a tree.
I think it just goes to show how amazing Terragen is. I have done a bit of photography; I'm not that good, but I have sold a few. With this program, and some good models, I can create my own wilderness to walk around in. I can take my virtual camera with me and, if needed, I can move a mountain or two to get a better shot.
Attaching Images: Thanks! I can see that option as I write this.
NWsenior07: Yeah! I wanted to do some more work on the mountains. They are really just the base colors and a white shader, with slope and altitude constraints, for snow. I'm going to borrow some tips from some of the tutorials I've read, and see how it turns out.
I plan to do more work on both images.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Regards,
Niall
