Just wondering what variety of languages people use on this forum. I'm almost positive most people have English as a first language (like me) but it still, I think, would be interesting to know.

Oh yeah, if you speak another language, you can just say so And I'll try to use this forum more for image posting rather than nitpicking (just kidding)

American English; I can read a little French, German, and have been picking up some Japanese (I am starting to recognize some alphabet characters) Also my forte is nonsense, but it's hard to translate.

Actually I would venture to guess (without looking at the votes yet) that a large proportion of people here are not native English speakers (though clearly many are quite fluent, often times even more so than us native speakers ).
