Free Version Bugs(?)

Just downloaded and tried the latest version.  A few items I noted
-Will not let me render a 600x800 image (800x600 works fine)
-The Network node does not resize properly. Sometimes gets stuck in a smaller size while the rest of the panels size properly.

Windows 7 SP1 32 bit
Lenovo t400
Radeon Mobility HD 3400 graphics

I don't think the free version ever has rendered at 600x800, I remember needing to bank the camera to 90 degrees and render at 800x600 to get that to work.

By "network node" do you mean the network pane or UI area, in the lower-right of the app?

I'll see if I can reproduce it. I see no reason that would be an issue limited to the free version, yet we haven't had any other reports of it (yet). What resolution does your laptop run at?
