I've worked this one on and off for three months...its O.K. but needs more work. If anyone wants to help I'd be glad to share all files and make it a collab. Clouds still confuse me...I keep guessing and making changes that I don't understand. I'm still using BMP texture files because I don't know what else to do......I keep doing the same thing and making the same mistakes over and over again....isn't that a sign of insanity? :)
Critiques, suggestions, comments, any and all help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

It looks good, I really only seen two major issues.  The ground near the shore looks blurry for some reason and the clouds somehow look too sharply defined, almost like solid objects.

The fog and ruined tower are very nice.

To say it bluntly; the clouds are awful (you know I mean this positively). I think if you just add some default clouds you'd be better of. Or scour the forum for some nicer clouds.
The rocky beach is strange indeed, postwork? Some merged rocks (highest raise) of different sizes would work good here, blended by distribution shader to cover only shore.
The trees don't mix well; some seem to have huge leaves in comparison to others. Perhaps some other species would be nicer, although I do like the reddish ones.
I hope this critique is any good to you, as it sure has potential.

Yes the details are a little strange. But the image has a nice feel, and it makes a nice composition. I would like to see the details fixed without loosing the feel.

The cloud pattern is good, its just that the depth is too thin and the edges too sharp. Lower the a wee bit density, increase the cloud depth and soften the edges and you will have nicer looking clouds.
