How do you export textures?

Search the web and everything leads to downloading and installing some plugins. Little confused by where you export your textures.

Need to create certain textures, one is a lightmap and other is a opacity map and then the textures.

If there some where else ask these questions since everyone is using Terragen2 ?

Technically there is no direct "export" path to get textures out of Terragen 0.9x. The best way to get a texture of the terrain is to render an orthographic view of the scene (set in Camera Settings). You would want to set atmosphere down to 0 and the lighting to something reasonably neutral (near 90 degrees vertical), then render a square image at the size you want your texture. For example it could correspond to the size of a terrain - 2049x2049, etc. Keep in mind however that to get decent resolution from a ground-level view will require an extremely high resolution render. Many people do have good luck creating textures with TG2, but it is not designed for this purpose and requires a bit of manual work to get it to produce results.

Well need to also export a 16 bit raw file and didn't see that in Terragen 2 yet.

Going to try what your suggestion on getting the texture out.
