Tangled-Universe

Works here Ulco....do you get an error message?

yossam

Works for me. No problems.

Dune

Ah, so it can work. I'll download again, maybe it was corrupted. I got an error with some numbers, an x and again some numbers. There wasn't a shortcut after installing either, only the folder of files, where I opened the exe.

yossam

I had to manually create a shortcut.

Anybody, please help?

Dune,

The only thing that I found after a web search: It seems to be related to XP and suggestions are to try to re-install the program that is causing the error. Or to use a registry cleaner to get rid of the problem. I will keep looking.  ???

I installed it again, but this time from my online version of XP, then it works. Now I'll will check out if the same .exe works from my offline version (other partition).

EDIT: No, so it apparently needs either the internet (huh?) or something that wasn't installed on my offline version of XP. Or SP3? Or java? Visual C++? Strange.

Ah hell! I had completely forgotten about that. Once I stated using Maya regularly I stopped playing with blender altogether.
But I do like Ivy generator as a standalone. It really is a nice little app. And for a lot of things I can think of its just easier to drop an object into IvyGen and go.

Thanks for reminding me Inky! Lol, Kadri was right, I really do try to do/learn to much at once, and then I forget things I should really remember.

But I stand by the part about being sick of programs ignoring OSX users! I WILL BUY YOUR SOFTWARE PEOPLE(if I can afford it). Don't forget about us mac guys!  ;)
