Here's a crop from a picture I'm working on. The full FOV extends all the way past the horizon to make the landscape look rather large. Those shadows on the clouds sure make render time go up.

i like this kind of view. hope to see the full FOV.

Very nice. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

For cropped images you can just get cropped c&c darth..  :D

But it looks very good yet!

Just the clouds are kind of too "fluffy" and need way more shape or sharpness to meet the actual shown surface detail i'd say.

I'm sorry for the delay, everybody. Life got busy in the last couple days so I haven't had time to do any work on this project. Hopefully I can get an update in the next day or so.

Gannaingh

Ok, It's about time i got this done. Life gets too busy for Terragen sometimes. I don't like the small puffs of fog in the midground, apparently I forgot to save it when I masked them by the larger cloud shapes. I think I want to make the fog areas larger and less noisy with larger fractal sizes as well as work on the lighting of the scene.. Thanks for taking a look.

This looks much better. The point of view did the trick.

I did some work with the lighting and clouds trying to get more of an early morning feel to the image. I need to lower the transparency values in the plant leaves since they're almost glowing in the shadows. I want to add one or two more cloud layers to build more depth to the fog in the background.

The lightning did the trick for sure!
If someone would tell me that this is a snapshot from a movie...I would just buy it.
Well done again ;)

Last one is a real improvement on the first, and thats saying a lot. Looks very grand!

Better lighting and color now but I really preferred the clouds in the previous ones. These are too flat and consistent, little variation. Still, a great (and very promising) scene overall, regardless.
