Well thats really good. Like finding 50 bucks in your pants pocket when you thought you were broke and had no idea it was there. 

So is this a juried in person art exhibition then, or just a juried contest? It is normal to only submit slides or digital images for a contest. But obviously an exhibition requires art ready to hang.
And what is the prize, and for what categories? And out of yet still more curiosity, who are the judges?

Yes, it's juried, there was no mention of any kind contest or prize.
The digital images will not be used exhibition, but as samples for the juries.
I don't know who the judges are, what I do know the director lives about 2 blocks from where I'm living now (I recently moved back into town)
Aside from this EPIC render that's been going on for over the last 7.5 days, the other issue was the resume & struggling to write a cover letter/artist's statement before the deadline.
I'm quite certain this exhibition has any categories
if I make ill have all my printed and framed.

I think I'm probably the only one doing this sort of thing, digital landscapes with TG, most people just use traditional mediums like paint or pastel.

struggling to write a cover letter/artist's statement before the deadline.

I was reading about H. R. Giger. His manager was answering a bunch of questions in a write up. He said that artists statements are pointless. Because, "if the work needs to be explained than the artist did something wrong, or the one looking at it is an idiot."  I hate writing that stuff too. I do like reading them though, that is where you learn how full of shit an artist it.

But if you really have to do one and are having some difficulty deciding what you want to talk about. There are a number of guides online, even books if you are feeling particularly masochistic today. At least they may help you narrow and shorten the statement.

I would just quote H.R's manager though.

Nice work, Zlain. I don't like writing art statements either. Often, if you have painted something and are obliged to do some writing, you actually have to think about what you produced 'unconsiously', and it only covers part of the 'hidden meaning' everyone will interpret differently. Real art should make the viewer think, not the artist, IMHO.

HR Geiger influenced me when i was younger, around when 18-20yrs old, but i grew out of him after high school, right around the time i headed in the digital direction.
didnt paint much, preferred drawing more.

It's grand! The light is really blinding, and I like the one little pinprick of light on the tower. That gives it just that little extra suspense.
