Ah, now that I'm on my beautiful flat panel, I can see the image in all its spooky color.  Nice job!

Anything ever happen to this?  This was one of the best TG2 images I've seen...

njen is one of those fantastic artists who come in and visit from time to time.  He's on my list to learn from <check>.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Thanks for the kind comments :)
I have plans to render a bigger version of this, but since the render time is quite large, I was waiting for the fix where I can render cropped parts of the image without the GI looking different along the seems. So it's on ice for now :)

You can always use the othe rmethod of rendering.  Once you decide your laptop has been on for long enough, you pause the render, keeping TG2 and the render screen open, then put your PC into standby mode.  When you start it up again from stand-by mode, everything is sitting exactly as you left it and you can continue the render from where you left off.

I'd love to see a full-size version of that render (hint-hint)

It's not the fact that it takes a long time to render or how my laptop performs, it's the fact that I need to use it for my 3D graphics creation, 2D Photoshopping and gaming. Not to mention everything else like email and web browsing. All of which I am ok with if a render is going to take less than 12 hours (through the night), but would be unable to do so for more than a few days.

Sorry for the huge bump, but this was one of my favorite images to come from the beta of T2 and it crossed my mind again today.  I was wondering if you've had any time to render a full-sized version of this?
