Is the upgrade to Plant studio 2015 worth it?

Plant Studio 2015? I did see E-on's sale on The Plant Factory Studio 2015. $597 thru April 7th. Some attractive new features; Alembic support and Quads, and a simplification of the node network for small features (branches , twigs, etc.). Tempting.
