Here's a new one using Daniil's erosion (thank you Daniil), and my old faithful icy water.
Comments good and bad welcome.

I am still in love with that icy water  :)

I cannot exactly define but something is strange with the cracks on the mountains. Or is it shadows or rivers?

They're large areas of snow slips, where patches of snow are starting to melt. i.e. the beginnings of avalanches.
That's my excuse anyway!

Dune

Nice setup. I like the melt (and the chunks of snow on the slopes) the best, but with a little extra effort.....
The dark crack-like texture on the slopes; is that due to displacement intersection with changed settings? (I have the idea I recognize that strange color). I think it's better to 'leave that out'. Then I think you need to use some bluer colors on old ice, to give it some more diversity. Maybe keep the tops rocky?

TheBadger

NIce. Like that ice too. render quality looks like a photo. Details need some more time, but already looks like a photo to me.
It has been eaten.

Thanks for the positive comments.
@ Dune. The dark patches are due to a fake stone layer using intersect underlying & favour depressions. Without this they disappear.

Some other changes underway.

cool image(pun intended)and I'm following it's development as I've nothing to add except I like it.

Nice image :) not sure about the dark lines though.

Kevin F

O.K.
new version without the "ice slip" dark lines, and a few other tweaks.

AP

Neat looking. I like the improvements.

Dune

Yes, I like the dark rocky tops.

The dark rocky tops make it perfect!

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, and for your suggestions Dune.
Here's another version using a modified version of my icy water. This incredibly simple method is now even simpler and gives better and easier control of colours and shape of the ice and is much faster. I'm still tweaking it at the moment but will put it on the file sharing area when ready.
