Really like the basic image but share Oshyan's  lighting confusion...

I changed the sky to a quite simple Easy Clouds version and played a little with the lighting settings to keep the reflections on sand and river realistic.

Hmm, I like the sky better for the lighting conditions, but it confirms something else I suspected which is that the image as a whole seems very underexposed. I mean when was the last time you saw a daytime sky that dark in a photo? It may be an issue of differences in monitor calibration but just overall when compared with other images in the forum (and indeed the default TG sky) this looks quite dark. Did you reduce exposure or the sun intensity?

Photoshop thinks it should more like this (and I tend to agree):
[attach=1]

And interestingly, if I do the same thing with the previous render and the old clouds, it too comes out looking IMHO more plausible.
[attach=2]

Other than that it looks like a great scene I think.

That's a great visual explanation...I see it clearly...

Exposure is set to 1 but I reduced the strength of the sunlight. Thanks for spotting the issue.

It's great to have veterans around who are willing to share their experience. Thanks for every single comment.
