Terrific piece, Mick. That cloud must be pretty high. I like the lay of the snow too, very well done. I can imagine all the work that got into this. The only minor nitpick (or something that struck me) is the ripples in the front rock; I would expect those in sand, but they may be petrified in ancient times.

Ta all I'm not sure what ripples you mean, Dune?  There's a displaceable rock with heavy displacement in the left fore ground is that the one you mean? It's a left over from an earlier experiment and I meant to reduce the disp depth but forgot!

Beautiful, and those clouds are amazing!
Perhaps a bit more fog to separate the distant mountains from the foreground rocks. In the absence of vegetation, and because of the fractal nature of terrains, it can a bit difficult to determine the dimensions.
