Sunset

This is just another sunset render. I'm looking to increase the cloud density a bit and to improve the water in some way. Also I want to find a camera angle tom make the scene more interesting. Any and all comments are welcome

very nice lighting, atmosphere and water....the overall mood/feeling of the iamge is great!....I also like the touch of birds...one thing would be to get rid of background land and some of the foreground land...its making it look unreal...also the grass....normal grass cant survive this far into the water!.....and I think you should leave the clouds as they are....they are perfect!...

Great looking atmosphere and colours. Like dhavalmistry I think the clouds are good as they appear currently. Perhaps some wetland bird species (egrets) might look nice in the foreground, instead of the landmass, perhaps reeds and water grass might be an alternative.

Here is the second render with more sky just for you seth. I decided to scrap the plant life and go for some rocks instead. I don't like the giant poofy cloud up top so'll try some different clouds until I get something better.

Really like the lighting on this one.  Nice setup. The birds are excellent.  The sun is perfect.  The water is very good.

just one thing....why is the camera tilted???

Just to try and make the scene a little more interesting. That doesn't sound like a good excuse so I'll make one up... the camera angle is tilted because the camera is floating on the water, and as the gentle waves splash on the camera it moves the camer angle a bit creating the tilted perspective. There we go, now it sounds like I actually put some thought into the picture

So did I, in the next one the clouds are a lot closer to the ones in the first picture. They're actually pretty subtle, more so than in the first image but I think it's an improvement.

darth. I like both renders for different reasons, though I think I prefer the second one more. By the way, most excelent excuse, couldn't have thought up a better one myself
