I just found a nice (and free) little program to make obj grass the program is no longer available but I also found a link (after hard time with Google the program is hard to find) here is the link http://threekingdoms.com/bantam3d/Bantam3DGrass7.zip

And here a quick test (with a simple color shaders)

Thanks!  It'll be nice to have some variation to TG2's grass clumps.
http://www.terragen.org - A great Terragen resource with models, contests, galleries, and forums.

What did you do about the serial number?

Nevermind, found it :P

Hmm, when I load the object, it crashes TG2 immediately.

For the import of the grass in Terragen 2 first open it in Wings 3D (or Blender) and resave it as an obj again I don't know why but some program don't save correctly obj file.  For the serial just read the Readme that come with the program.

All you have to do is open the file in Wings or another free 3D software program like Blender, and resave it from there.  A repost would still be handy, though.

Blender is not needed...

Open the obj in Terragen. Rightclick the node and select 'save object file', save it (as tgo), delete node, load the tgo object and render away!
Howgh!

king_tiger_666

i've noticed when saving obj to tgo in terragen it deletes texture mapping:(. and when you load the tgo it renders the object as black...
