Had a lot of problems with black triangles on this one and had to do some postwork on those also some tonemapping in addition. Rendered Detail 0.7, AA 8 and GI 1/3

Great lighting & a very atmospheric shot altogether.

inkydigit

nice!...love the atmospherics!

Seth

the sky and sun are great, very good lighting

the atmospherics are awesome, the displacements are cool too, :)

but i think the creature skeleton could use more detail, it seems pretty low poly.

One sub-surface would make the object much more 'smooth' looking. In Blender, I would use a sub-divide modifier with catmul-rom. The hit the apply. There must be a similar function in other apps.

Great lighting... causing great colours.

I just need to tweak that texture a bit more...

i don't really know my way around blender that well, but LightWave 3d's (8.5) subdivide tool features 3 subdivision methods, faceted, Smooth, & Metaform, the last one being the best for smoothing out the skeleton.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I know the model is a big jagged and it's true it's quite lowpoly. I dont currently wanna go back to this render because I have something much more exciting on the way ;) Perhaps later tho!

I revisit some landscapes that I did before. Helps when I'm feeling frustrated when something is not working.

I would like to see that with more detailed bones. It reminds me of Wacraft3 cinematics  ;D Cool!
