Hi Miles,

I really like this work. Good choice of scales for the models.
The mirrored water looks good too, so do the small fake stones.
You might want to uncheck "blend as stone density" in your fake stones nodes to solve some fan-shaped displacements.

Cheers,
Martin

Great surfacing and populating. Agree that the fake stones are excellent. Very nice.

Great ground detail, and excellent grass deployment. To me the trees atop that hillock is a good feature of the scene; shame you didn't tilt your camera up a tad to get it in the pic.

I hope I realise I don't exist before I apparently die.

Super lighting on this one - something unsettling about the scale, though.  The main terrain feature would appear at first to be rather large, but the grass somewhat dwarfs it.  I think this may work better as a 'lake' scene rather than a pool scene :)

Henry Blewer

I think the flower is one of Walli's. Crocus. This looks very much like a scene I am working on now, Mt.Kelly. Therefore it is awesome! But like the one I am working on, it can use some improvement. Mainly the lighting. Lowering the sun and positioning it so the rock faces are highlighted work add more drama.

Nice scene. I especially like the upper-middle part. It looks like a landslide.

I very much like the terrain, but I have some crits. I would lower the reflectiveness of the water, or give it some murkiness, because you can't see where rock ends and reflection begins in the rocky area on the opposite side of the lake. If you get my point.
The grass on the opposite hills seems like bushes or even trees to me (scale wise), and then you see the large trees. It doesn't convince for me. It looks like a huge terrain, a couple of kilometers, but the you have this giant grass and flowers. What if you decrease the grass/flower size to 1/4? Or even replace the distant grass by Dandel0's global grass.

But I really like the... indeed .. landslide. How did you get this: WM?
