Wonderful news! I am glad you have finished this project. Which leads to the obvious, what's next?

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

Checked the price, pretty expensive. My estimate of the USD equivalent was $42! Can you release a single-layer free version?
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

I don't quite know yet. I'm thinking of some smaller packs with some general clouds stuff or maybe something to do with procedural gas-giants which I have been running some test on.

The USD equivalent is $30, the same as the planet pack. The pricing for both of my packs are based on several factors that I considered such as risks, demand, quality etc. There will not be a single-layer free version, though there is a single layer version included in the pack. That said, it would be a bit strange for me to release a free version (though less quality) to compete with my own product.

Think of it not as a free competing product but as a free trial with usage limitations such as you can't use it in renders larger than 800x600 or something.

I have no power to enforce any such limitation.

Why?

Because TG2 has no system which allows 3rd parties to apply restrictions like that.

Thanks. I don't remember the exact time but it was less than a day, around 18 hours or so.

I meant something like just SAYING you can't, not some kind of software restriction.

Well then we're back where we started, I can say anything I want but I still can't enforce it. This is starting to go off topic so as I said earlier, there will not be a free version.

1. As Grand Moff Tarkin once said, "Fear will keep the local systems in line."
2. I downloaded a version of planetary clouds last night from File Sharing. I noticed while looking up the thread today that you took them down. ( http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=1511.0 ) Can I still use the ones you posted in 07 in File Sharing?

nvseal, I'm planning to get this and the planet pack.  My hope was that there might be a discount for someone buying both at the same time.  Does this sound like a possibility?

I will plan to purchase these sometime in the beginning of February.

Woohoo!!
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
