The View menu contains items relating to the various views available in Terragen, such as the Render view, network view and 3D Preview, along with some useful utility windows.

Items:

Render: This item opens the Render window. If it's already open then it is brought to the front.

3D Preview: This item opens the 3D Preview in the main window, if it has been closed or minimised.

3D Preview in New Window: This item opens a 3D Preview in a new window.

3D Preview Location: This item opens a floating window which displays information about the cursor position in the currently focused 3D Preview, as well as the view camera location. This is essentially the same information as you see in the information text directly under the 3D Preview, but it is more clearly displayed in the 3D Preview Location window.

Navigation Window: This item opens a floating window which contains navigation controls for the 3D Preview. The navigation controls effect the last used, or focused, 3D Preview. You can find out more about the navigation panel here.

Node Network: This item opens the network view in the main window, if it has been closed or minimised.

Node Network in New Window: This item opens a network view in a new window.

Node Palette: This item has a submenu which allows you to open a floating Node Palette for a particular type of node. You can find out more about the Node Palette here.

Errors and Warnings: This item opens the Errors and Warnings window. You can find out more about that here.

Undo History: This opens a floating window which shows you all the changes which can be undone.

Back to Menu Reference

A single object or device in the node network which generates or modifies data and may accept input data or create output data or both, depending on its function. Nodes usually have their own settings which control the data they create or how they modify data passing through them. Nodes are connected together in a network to perform work in a network-based user interface. In Terragen 2 nodes are connected together to describe a scene.
