Beautifully done! Some refracted light in the skull shadow would make this perfect!... Obsidian and gold, copper and other mineral skulls exist, it has been said!
I must make another one of these!

I have quite a collection of gems and semi-precious crystal, one of them, a lovely polished flourite, has almost exactly the same hues as this within its depths.
