@wetbanana - your renders are very good. What do you think you'll do next?
Thanks
um im actually working on proper daz importation of models ie real models with skin and hair the only trouble is, is that terragen unlike every other apllication import the colour maps but doesn't import any alpha or bump maps grrrrrr
so I have to manually insert about 100 bump and alpha maps to my or else it will look Mr. Blobby:0
also when I add the alpha maps to the hair they seem to be too fine detail for terragen and well the person just look like they have poored straight peroxide over their head and wondered why the have all these bald patches
so I have had a pretty shit experience these past couple of days with terragen I have been having a blast with vue this past week and its been superb
I realise that vue has pretty much caught up to terragen 2 in everything except landscapes its lighting is better (MUCH MUCH BETTER) it fast I mean Hell fast:o im talking 30 minute renders not 30 hour ones it imports objects properly not pissing you off by leaving out the alpha maps and bump maps and you can actually see your object not just some box you have to push about and render each time just to line it up properly and it renders objects far more realisticy than terragen
So I now take all the coments back I said about Vue their is still a lot of problems with it but its improved heaps
