The traditional way to do this is to use the output of Terragen as a sky map. This is true for *any* non-interactive application that generates highly detailed renders that can't be reproduced in realtime. If you want to maintain quality, there's no way to make it interactive in realtime. If you just want the basic shapes like the terrain, then you can export the terrain as Jo mentioned above. Population data will probably be exportable for reading by other apps eventually so you could then use that to recreate populations in another app, since all the models are imported to TG anyway. But the bottom line is this isn't really what Terragen is intended for, i.e. complete creation of realtime interactive scenes. You can use it to create some game data assets, absolutely, and it's great for that, but as far as generating your complete scene, you might as well just do it in a more realtime-oriented app *because* most of the benefits TG offers are simply not reproducible in realtime.
