fractal cathedral
Terragen 4.4
A project that I wanted to test for a long time, I have now started.
In Terragen 4 it is a question of influencing the fakestone shader
not only by the shape of vector graphics fractal, but also in the opacity.

Suitable for this was the swamp water of Dune (Planetside)

That's wicked. The cage effect of the cathedral looks good. Great work seer.

Thanks a lot friends! :)

For interested, here are the connections of the Fakestone shader:

Influencing the fakestone shader
by shape of vector graphics fractal, but also in the opacity.

At the moment I am working on the Fakestone Layer, which is influenced by vector graphics and combined with normal Fakestone Layers.

This of course creates more shadows and generally more rendering time.

The render time is extended here too, because in the object I designed in Blender 2.79, put sophisticated materials, such as glass I have provided with a rust layer fractal, oxidized brass, also car paint paints, of course, to be calculated ,

The whole thing was limited by a simple shader mask to achieve a varied transition.

At this resolution, which was already rather small, the rendering time was already 2.5 hours ... but the quality of the render is rather to be classified as a standard. It needs further tests on my part :)

Good luck with the fake stones! :)
...when the foreground is finished this will be so cool!

Terragen 4.4 render.
Object designed in Blender.

Of course you can also influence objects on the "Opacity Function" input with vector graphics in Terragen 4.4
