Seriously though :) This is very good but I'd like to see it again without the soft shadows. Soft shadows can add so much "impression" of realism it can be hard to see the work thats gone into the displacement and colours.

This is absolutely fantastic, I wish I could give you some tips but seriously it seems perfect to me... and I have to agree, if it wasn't for the fact, that it's on this forum and that some shapes look familiar I would be hard-pressed to say anything but that it is a foto! :-* :D

errr... you mean you want me to take off some of the tweaks of this render to make it looks worst ?! Oo
I am sorry but i am not sure to really understand... my point in using TG2 is not to make real things but to try to do good looking renders... whatever it takes to fool the eyes of people...
but if i have 10 other hours to lose, i'll do a render without soft shadows.

Hmmm... wonder what this button does....

Hehe, I know what you mean, if only we all had another 10 hours to tweak this and that. No, I only was interested in the simply lit version so I could get a better look at your technique for your displacements and shading. It would almost certainly not be "better" but maybe more informative ...
