Thanks! Your example looks great. I'm still getting the hang of Terragen nodes, as WorldMachine's felt easier to grasp.

You're welcome. It was just a basic setup, a start, so not perfected at all. You may also want to further mask it by smaller whispy cloud fractal or PF, etc. Your adaptation looks good.

Bingo.
Thank you Kevin.

Does your image have an alpha channel? Make sure the image is also assigned to the Opacity Image parameter under the Opacity tab and that Use alpha channel is checked.

Now i have a question.
How do i get rid of the "billboards" i think they are called?
My petals are squared off.
I have read a few things, but whatever i select i still get them.

I made you a simple setup. You'd have to elaborate on this.

Thanks for pointing that out, I actually wasn't sure whether to add more blur to the cloud to make it more wispy. What could I use to achieve this?

Great cloud scene, but I agree about the mackerel clouds being too grainy. Cloud like that can also be done with a x (or y) to scalar, a sinus, a divide by a constant, and warp, and a mask to keep it to a certain area.
