In this video we explore the Render Layer feature in Terragen 4 Professional. This render management tool allows you to group objects and lights in your project so they can be rendered and saved as separate image sequences. By using render layers, the components that make up an image, such as its surfaces, clouds, and atmosphere can be exported and then re-assembled during post production in order to fine tune or color correct the individual layers. Other render elements, such as depth passes, motion vectors, and position data can also be exported.
