Pre-Purchase Terragen™ 2 When you pre-purchase Terragen 2, you unlock extra capabilities and remove limitations that are in the Technology Preview, Free Non-Commercial edition. You also secure yourself a copy of Terragen 2 "Deep" edition at today's price and are entitled to free updates. The Pre-Purchase includes a commercial license for one user and up to 5 additional render node licenses, depending on the edition. You are required to purchase a commercial license for the Terragen 2 Technology Preview if it is for commercial use, as specified in the License Agreement presented to you when you install or first use the software. The Free Non-Commercial edition has a number of limitations which are removed when you Pre-Purchase Terragen 2: The Pre-Purchase includes: License for commercial use Render images larger than 800 x 600 Render images with higher detail and anti-aliasing quality No hard limit on the number of object populations (the Free Edition is limited to 3) Animation and motion blur capabilities if you purchase the Animation option All of the above benefits are extended through to the final release of Terragen 2, scheduled for completion in 2007, including any minor updates (2.x versions) beyond that at no extra charge. The cost of the pre-purchase is the same regardless of whether it is for commercial or personal use, and the benefits are the same. The only difference is that pre-purchase is necessary for commercial use.
